Nice scene. I never saw starlings so close and more or less on the ground level. Which food did you provide that they are so hot for it?

Thanks for your comment. We take 4 or 5 slices of brown bread (crumbed), 1/2 a cup of mixed bird seed all mixed in with 1/4 cup of melted lard. It doesn't last long. In the winter we do that 3 or 4 times a day. We have had over 50 Starlings at the same time.
